The number of visitors is limited to ensure social distancing; it is mandatory to use the mask inside the places of the Basilica; the surfaces in contact with visitors are frequently sanitized; a sanitizing solution for hand cleaning is available to the visitor.

Yes, but not with professional devices or film cameras. Live streaming is also prohibited. It is allowed the use of cameras exclusively on the Museum terraces and on the top of the Bell Tower.

Entrance and Accessibility

No, it is forbidden to enter with any sort of backpacks and luggages. Secure lockers to store your luggages during the time of the visit are available at the San Basso ticket office.

Of course! People with physical disabilities or using weelchairs are able to enter the Basilica and also gain access to the Treasury through the Porta dei Fiori, which is equipped with a ramp; The Museum, which is located on the upper floor of the Basilica, is served by both a lift and stair lifts; The Bell Tower is served with a lift as well. Visitors are kindly requested to contact a staff member at the Porta dei Fiori, which is located on the left-hand side of the Basilica.
